![]() Pls halp.Īre people on Xmage just excruciatingly slow on average or is it just me? I'm out of ideas guys and I have exhausted my google searchs. When I forward ports, I send them to this specific computer address. My local IP address is a fixed address I set up in my router. I've tried everything, setting up the router to DMZ even but so far, no luck. I'm watching the server console and I don't even see them trying to reach the server. If the server is online and the ports are open : if they click on "connect" the client tries to connect for several seconds (quite a long time actually) but nothing happens. If the server is offline, or the ports are closed, if they click on "connect" it fails within seconds. But my friends cannot connect to my server. If I remove the port redirection rule, it does not work anymore. ![]() WHenever I try to connect to my own server using my internet IPV4 address, it works instantly. Redirect port 1712 to my local IP address. SecondaryBindPort="17172" (I also tried -1) ServerAddress="local ip address of this computer" My server config file is setup as follows : But I'm not renting it anymore and I'm trying to host a beta server on my computer. I had a working Xmage server some month ago on a dedicated server I was renting, on Linux. Ping me on the server if you need help (The_Steve_Man). XMage has an official Discord server with easy to follow instructions on how to download / install the beta in the #setup-and-tips channel. The beta client / server is very active, stable, and UPDATED WITH THE LATEST CARDS. After you have pointed the file path to the correct directory, download any images that you may be missing (don't forget to increase the download threads). Simply point the file path to your existing image directory (example below). Do not re-download all the images if you already have existing ones in your regular XMage client. Run the launcher and click Update to download Java.IMPORTANT NOTE - It is crucial that you place it in the folder before you unzip / extract it, otherwise you might run into errors during the installation process. Place the zip file in the XMage Beta folder that you created, and then unzip / extract it from there.Create a new folder on your desktop named "XMage Beta".
